The Road to the All-Star game!

This kid looks awesome. Once he plays against the Nets today, he will have a good game. Though dominant Andrew Bynum's gone, Gasol'll start in is place at center. So until Bynum's back, the Lakers will have Pau up plugged in the middle.

And with a 6'10" small forward, Lamar Odom, the Lakers look awesome. Kobe is obviously the best current player in the league and Derek Fisher's a great point guard.

Now the Memphis Grizzlies are in the process of rebuilding. But they gave up Stromile Swift for one of the least-dominant centers in the NBA.

Yeah, I'm talking about Jason Collins. The least dominant is his twin brother, Jarron. He has about 1 block every year, two or three if he gets lucky. Hmm. Stro for Collins. Yea! h, good trade. Smooth, Memphis, smooth.

And then they have Kwame Brown, Javaris Crittenton, Marc Gasol, Aaron McKie, and two draft picks. They made a good choice getting the draft picks, but the 4 other players suck. It's sad. The Grizzlies could have just traded for Luol Deng or Andres Nocioni or whoever the Bulls offered. Yeah, everyone wants a good Kwame Brown. Well, at least Memphis will be ran by Rudy Gay and Juan Carlos Navarro. Cleveland's interested in shooter Mike Miller. Maybe Marc Gasol will be good......

For the All-Star game, Antawn and Caron are going. Plus, Chris Paul is making his first of probably more appearances. Carlos Boozer will finally play this year without an injury. Mehmet Okur, I am glad he didn't make it. He needs more dominance underneath the basket. All he does is shoot a jumper or a three. That's how he's averaging what he's averaging.

After the Chris Paul-Deron Williams matchup, I changed my thought about Williams. 29 poin! ts and 11 assists was produced by the point guard. And Chris P! aul, a 6 point-6 assist effort. That made me cry. But both are in the Playstation Skills Challenge this year in the All-Star game. Jannero Pargo looks pretty good, too. I forgot how many pts he had, but it was around 20. Maybe if he started on a different franchise such as Seattle or Atlanta, the team would have a winning record and he could put up 18-20 points a game.

Though Atlanta has a losing record, if the season ended right now, they would make it as a #7 seed. If a bunch of West teams were in the East like Portland and Houston, the teams could make it with a good seed spot. Plus, their SG Joe Johnson was invited to the All-Star competition. Hedo Turkoglu, with all his great plays, was snubbed. So was the West's Baron Davis, Deron Williams, Marcus Camby, and a bunch of other talented guys. One of them deserves the spot more than the Blazers' Brandon Roy. Maybe even LaMarcus Aldridge could be picked over him.

As I told you in one of my earlier posts, Jamario Moon ! was invited to the dunk contest. Just watch what he does. He is amazing. Dwight Howard will probably get 2nd, Rudy Gay 3rd, and Gerald Green last. Dwight could win, but Jamario needs to go back there next year.

About the player movement of '08, Chris Webber needs to play for Golden State, Earl Boykins is a good player, just not for Charlotte because they already have a great PG, Raymond Felton, and Damon Stoudamire isn't going to win a title in San Antonio this year as long as LA has the Bynum, Gasol, Odom, Bryant, Fisher lineup.
